Advent 4211 – MSI Wind Netbook

I recently bought an Asus EeePC 2G to use as my mobile laptop, The default OS, Xandros wasn’t very flexible and there was only 2Gb storage onboard, so I ran eeexbuntu from an 8gb SDHC card. Unfortunately I couldn’t get on with the 7″ screen and it was very limited with the non-expandable 512Kb memory.  I decided to go for something a little bigger with a better screen resolution and better performance.

SOS Bass Tuner

I used to use a floor pedal tuner to keep my bass in tune, however since discovering the Planet Waves SOS Bass tuner, that is the only tuner I use.

Once you’re used to it, it is very quick and easy to use. It is suitable for 4, 5 & 6 string basses (B,E,A,D,G,C) and accurate tuning can be achieved silently.
